Stages and where we help

1. First approach – triage of the proposal, planning and grid context, early heads of terms.

2. Authority and exclusivity – letters of authority, transparency on grid offers, sensible exclusivity with time limits and fees.

3. Surveys and access – scope, method statements, insurances, schedules of condition, compensation and reinstatement.

4. Option – structure, milestones, meaningful option fees, indexation and caps on liabilities, landowner design input.

5. Lease – rent mechanisms per acre or per MW, or indexed revenue share, assignments and step-in rights, reinstatement bonds.

6. Beyond the lease – construction management, habitat and BNG plans, variation management, termination, reinstatement and potential repowering.
